    Dr. Daniel Mikel
    Chiropractor

Welcome to Grass Lake Chiropractic; my name is Dr. Daniel Mikel, and I would like to thank you for the privilege of serving you and your family on your journey to wellness.  I want to take this opportunity to share a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me better and understand why I am so passionate about chiropractic and the health of you and your family.

First and foremost, you should know that I believe in family.  I know families come in all different shapes and sizes; each family unit is unique.  But at the heart of each family member is love for those closest to them.  I grew up in just such a family, and, as the youngest of four children, I didn’t always get along with my brothers and sister, but I love them and would do anything for them.  I want the best for them, and I want the best for you and your family too.  I view each and every one of you as a member of our practice family.  And as a member of this family, you are entitled to certain rights.  You are not a just a number, diagnosis, syndrome, or disease; you are a person who deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, compassion, and understanding.

I received my degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic which is located in Davenport, Iowa in 2007.  I purchased Grass Lake Chiropractic in June of 2008 and have been proudly serving our community since then.  I really enjoy the friendly small town atmosphere we have here in Grass Lake and the surrounding communities.

My beautiful wife and I have three adorable little girls. Being married to Chelsea and having three daughters is an incredible blessing; as a husband and father, I want to take care of my girls, provide for their needs, protect them, and make sure they know that I love them.  I want to bring that same level of dedication to my patients; I want to take care of them, provide the services they need with quality and kindness, and protect them against future health problems.  I absolutely love kids, and I’ve done my best to make the office a fun place for them to come and learn about Chiropractic.  I want my children to have every opportunity to grow up healthy and happy, and I know that you want the same for your children and grandchildren.  I am so disheartened by children’s health care and the direction it is going.  Kids today are growing up labeled ADHD, asthmatic, autistic, hyperactive, allergic, etc.  Unfortunately, doctors usually focus on treating and conquering sickness with powerful drugs.   Health cannot be achieved by treating sickness; it won’t work.  You see, health comes from within, and it is your God given right to be healthy.  The nervous system is the most important system in the body; it controls the function of every cell, tissue, and organ in the body and adapts your body to the environment.  According to medical texts, when cells, tissues, and organs function at 100% all of the time, optimal health is maintained.  The spine plays a very important role in the function of the body because it protects the nervous system.  Life is precious; any of you who have held a newborn baby in your arms know this.  And it is for this reason that I am passionate about being a family chiropractor.  I want my family to be healthy, and I want your family to be healthy.

I have a vision for Grass Lake Chiropractic and it begins with you and your family.  My vision is “Healthier People, Healthier Planet.”  I know chiropractic care can and will make a difference, and the effect will continue to ripple out to the world.  It’s already happening; families just like yours are choosing wellness and taking charge of their health.  Welcome to the Grass Lake Chiropractic Center family, and welcome to true health!  Please don’t hesitate to contact me personally with any questions or concerns; I’m always here for you and your family.

    CHIROPRACTOR

Hello, my name is Dr. Sydnee! For me, becoming a chiropractor was a no-brainer since I have been getting adjusted since I was three weeks old! I knew at a young age that being a chiropractor was what I wanted to do when I grew up, so from 3rd grade on, I made it my mission to become a chiropractor. Just a few short years later (ha-ha), I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where I got to learn from the best of the best! After graduation, I was lucky enough to come back to my small-town roots and serve the Grass Lake community. I grew up nearby in Concord, so I am very familiar with the small-town atmosphere, and I love every bit of it! Grass Lake is where my grandma and her family grew up, so it has been great coming back and watching Grass Lake grow into the town it is today and the town I am privileged to raise my daughter. Last year my husband and I were able to bring our beautiful, full-of-personality daughter into the world, and I could not have done it without the wonderful team here at GLCC. I was able to work through my entire pregnancy! I got adjusted every step of the way, labor went smoothly and my daughter is as healthy as they get! Here at Grass Lake Chiropractic serving families is what we love to do! I would love to meet your family and help keep you all healthy!

    Office Manager

I have been the Office Manager and Chiropractic Assistant at Grass Lake Chiropractic since 2008. I absolutely love my job because I get a front row seat to see people get healthy and improve their lives. I also have the privilege of working with my brother, Dr. Dan, which is fun – most days! I work the front desk, do the insurance billing, take x-rays, and do cold laser therapy. I am always happy to answer any questions and assist our patients on their path to wellness.

    Morgan
    Chiropractic Tech

Hi! My name is Morgan & I am one of the Chiropractic Techs at Grasslake Chiropractic. I joined the team in January of 2024. I am very passionate about chiropractic care as well as exercise. I have a Bachelor's degree is Exercise Science & am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. It was through my experience in Powerlifting that I found my passion for exercise. I have been competing in Powerlifting since the age of 12. I was actually on a Powerlifting scholarship during my undergraduate years. I have competed at both the national & international levels - I have even won a few national championships with my college team. I am also certified Personal Training as well as Functional Movement. I love being in a chiropractic office, because Chiropractic care has been such an essential part of my powerlifting journey & the way that I think about movements both for myself & my clients. I love the hollistic approach of chiropractic & how the practice looks at the body as a whole.
